Figure AI Figure AI · Robotics · HQ · Internships

AI robotics company developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots aiming for human-level intelligence. The Special Projects Intern will develop and refine robot behaviors and software for external events, working hands-on with hardware and collaborating across teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and refine robot behaviors used in external events, demos, and deployments.
  2. Write and maintain software that drives robot demonstrations, including behavior sequencing and control logic.
  3. Test behaviors on hardware, iterate quickly, and debug issues in the lab and on site.
  4. Support event execution, including setup, rehearsals, and live troubleshooting.
  5. Collaborate across engineering and operations teams to deliver polished, reliable demonstrations.
