Introduction to team
Travel Partnerships and Advertising helps partners deliver excellent traveller and B2B experiences, driving growth for them and the EG marketplace through competitive supply, a valued advertising and travel media network, and affiliate solutions.
The Car Partner Solutions team sits within the Travel Partnerships and Advertising organization and powers car rental offers on the Expedia Group Platform. The key purpose of this role is to grow and protect the health of car supply through the entire life cycle. The Car Partner Solutions Specialist will be responsible for root cause analysis and participating in projects in line with the larger team’s mission while working closely with partner teams, supply partners, and other stakeholders as needed.
This role operates within a 24/7 global coverage model and follows a shift rotation every six months. Team members work five consecutive days each week, typically covering standard business hours in India across four weekdays, along with one afternoon-to-evening shift on a weekend day. The role also includes one evening on-call shift per week to support continuous service.
**In this role you will: **
- Deliver world class customer experience on Expedia Group sites by reducing errors, protecting the health of existing supply and launching new content while maintaining quality for all functions.
- Support new feature and product launches through configuration of new content and rigorous testing processes.
- Perform research and investigation of car issues and drive root cause analysis to issue resolution.
- Maintain relationships with business-critical teams through regular partner contact and delivering valued services.
- Provide escalation support for various teams relating to site content, capabilities and performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through iterative tool and process improvements.
- Document processes and maintain team knowledge articles.
- Support projects and key initiatives through the collection and analysis of supporting data.
- Provide regular and ad hoc reports and analysis for internal and external partners.
Experience and Qualifications:
- You have a minimum of 2+ years experience in a technical or technical operations roles
- You have excellent problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- You have the ability communicate with stakeholders by tailoring technical and complex information to your audience using methods from in-person interactions to various digital methods.
- You have demonstrated the ability to establish and adhere to priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- You can work effectively in diverse group settings as well as independently.
- You are self-motivated and take initiative.
- Preferred: You can create, modify and run SQL queries.
- Preferred: You know how to interpret information in either Amadeus or Titanium.
- Preferred: XML, programming, AI or similar technical experience.
