Specialist, Marketing

Marketing Specialist role focused on developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, social media plans, and content creation for Deloitte's Government and Public Services industry team. Requires experience in marketing technology, content marketing techniques, and supporting business objectives.

What you'd actually do

  1. Developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns that promote Deloitte GPS capabilities, offerings, and assets
  2. Supporting the strategy and execution of industry events and sponsorships across in-person, hybrid, and virtual formats
  3. Creating and implementing social media plans that build awareness of Deloitte’s GPS practice in the market
  4. Coordinating updates to Deloitte’s external website to drive page visits and engagement with featured content
  5. Drafting and reviewing marketing content, including advertising copy, web copy, social copy, and marketing collateral

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of post-college experience in marketing and communications
  • 1+ years of experience using marketing technology to support campaign execution and deliverables
  • 1+ years of experience using content marketing techniques, including audience segmentation, search engine optimization (SEO), and persona development
  • 1+ years of experience supporting marketing and communications initiatives tied to business objectives
  • Ability to travel 10%
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship

Nice to have

  • Experience working within the government professional services market
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications
