This role is for a Specialist, NG SIEM at CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity company. The primary focus is on sales and business development for their SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) offering, which is part of their broader AI-native platform. The role involves identifying opportunities, collaborating with account managers, managing the sales cycle, and delivering demonstrations. It is not a hands-on AI/ML development or research role.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify and prioritize opportunities for Log Management within current Falcon Platform customers.
  2. Collaborate with the CrowdStrike Account Manager on strategies and tactics for outreach and communication.
  3. Manage the sales cycle from scheduling initial meetings through negotiation, contract changes, and signature.
  4. Deliver demonstrations, communicate value, and answer customer objections.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years or equivalent experience in consulting, account management, or cybersecurity sales
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or relevant experience.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding expectations in an individually focused, quota carrying role.
  • Ability to successfully balance a wide variety of daily tasks and adjust priorities on the fly in a fast-paced environment over multiple engagements.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills demonstrated through email, conference calls, presentations, and internal meetings
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • A curious nature with a desire to learn and a competitive spirit.
  • High level of comfort handling client objections and negotiations.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Formal training in a recognized sales methodology
  • Prior experience using Salesforce or another CRM solution
