Target is seeking a Specialty Sales Team Leader to manage a team of specialized consultants in areas like Apparel, Home, Baby, Beauty, and Electronics. The role involves driving guest experience, managing sales trends, inventory, and visual merchandising, while also leading and developing a team of hourly employees. Responsibilities include planning daily workloads, executing sales goals, coaching team members, and ensuring operational excellence in areas like sales floor maintenance and backroom processes. What you'd actually do

  1. Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience. Model, train and coach team member expectations to deliver on our GUEST service model culture.
  2. Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches, being authentic and respectful, and creating equitable experiences.
  3. Plan daily/weekly workload at the direction of your direct leader, and execute the same to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement; including planning merchandising sets, make changes and updates to merchandise sets (planograms), sales plans, events and promotions.
  4. Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices as outlined with team onboarding and learning; help close skill gaps through development, coaching and team interactions.
  5. With direct leader guidance, develop, coach, and lead a team of consultants who are knowledgeable and passionate.
