Sr. Account Executive

F5 is seeking a Sr. Account Executive in Johannesburg to manage and grow relationships with major key accounts in Nigeria and Ghana. This strategic sales role requires in-depth technology knowledge, strategic planning, and the ability to drive revenue by selling F5's solutions and services, including cybersecurity and application security offerings. The position involves building executive-level relationships, managing partner collaborations, and meeting sales quotas.

What you'd actually do

  1. The role will be based in Johannesburg but focus on major accounts within Nigeria and Ghana.
  2. You will be primary point-of-contact for these major accounts regardless of account’s geographic location. Maintaining contact with account at a high, executive level, focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship.
  3. Sells the organization’s products or services to and maintains relationships with existing accounts. Responsible for expanding and retaining named accounts while ensuring ongoing customer service.
  4. Responsible for identifying and qualifying long-term and short-term business opportunities and pro-actively identifying and addressing competitive threats
  5. Prepares formal proposals and presentations, presents to all levels of the organization including executives, leads negotiations, coordinates complex decision making processes and overcomes objectives to closure, and closes sales in a professional and effective manner
