This role is for a Senior Advanced Application/System Sales Engineer in the industrial sector, focusing on selling software solutions and driving growth in Southeast Asia. Responsibilities include pipeline management, customer consulting, and coordinating with internal teams to position Honeywell Connected Industrial Solutions. The role requires experience in process industries, software sales/consulting, domain knowledge in specific verticals, and understanding of OT/IT environments including AI/ML as a component of broader solutions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Responsible for regional opportunity pipeline development and management, tracking key business metrics, and quarterly business update/review
  2. Drive business development in Southeast Asia region by positioning incremental and recurring software
  3. Conduct consulting engagements such as needs discovery, workshops, benchmarking and master planning to determine customer needs and develop solution opportunities
  4. Coordinating with cross functional teams involving Operations, product management, proposal and estimations, to position right Honeywell Connected Industrial Solution
  5. Define and communicate the value proposition of software products or services through product presentations and demonstrations, to highlight key features, benefits, and competitive advantages.

What the JD emphasized

  • Hands-on consulting experience in process industries, delivering Solution Consulting /digital transformation, or operational excellence programs
  • 4 years of progressive software sales and/or consulting experience
