The AI Hardware team is seeking a SOC Verification Engineer to focus on pre-silicon RTL verification of AI inference chips and custom silicon for Tesla's AI initiatives, including Dojo, FSD, and Optimus. The role involves architecting verification environments, ensuring coverage, and collaborating with design and software teams. Experience with SOC architecture, verification methodologies, and post-silicon validation is required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work with team members to define and set up a SOC-level verification environment.
  2. Architect highly reusable UVM based test benches and integrate complex multi-instance VIPs, sub-system test benches, and test suites at the SOC level.
  3. Achieve targeted coverage and work with Design. Architecture, SW, FW and external IP delivery teams to efficiently integrate and verify the design.
  4. Create coverage driven verification plans from specifications.
  5. Post-silicon validation and SOC bring-up.
