Salesforce is seeking a Senior Specialist, Climate Action Operations to manage the operational aspects of their Climate Action Team, focusing on procurement, ESG assurance, supplier management, and data integrity for carbon credits, renewable energy, and carbon dioxide removal programs. This role involves managing significant annual spend and inventory, coordinating with auditors and stakeholders, and driving process improvements within their Net Zero Cloud platform.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own end-to-end procurement workflows for Carbon Credits, Renewable Energy, CDR, and Nature programs (managing a $20M+ annual spend and 15+ PIRs/COs per quarter).
  2. Lead the annual ESG Assurance process for Renewable Energy and Carbon Credits, closely coordinating with external auditors, ESG Controllership, and internal stakeholders.
  3. Manage Carbon Credit allocation and inventory reconciliation (1M+ credits annually) within Salesforce’s Net Zero Cloud (NZC).
  4. Oversee Virtual Power Purchase Agreements (VPPAs), including Finance coordination, invoice routing, and EAC retirement schedules.
  5. Lead Carbon Credit RFP operations, including supplier pipeline development and Scout submissions.
