What you'd actually do

  1. Manage Supplier Relationship, Development, and Performance
  2. Drive the success of meeting business factory MRP and financial requirements
  3. Drive the success for metrics, Late to Place, Late to Dock, Delinquent Material, etc.
  4. Develop plans to promote cost reduction initiatives and performance improvements to drive flawless supplier execution for RMD programs and projects
  5. Perform subcontract management of high dollar purchase orders utilizing integrated supply chain models in compliance with all regulatory and corporate requirements

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree
  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) or within other heavily regulated industries
  • U.S. Person status or eligibility for export authorizations

Nice to have

  • Analyzing Cost and Pricing Data and determine proposal compliance
  • Experience with technical requirements of procured hardware and services including Statement of Work (SOW) review
  • Experience placing Purchase Orders of high dollar levels and procurement complexity
  • Experienced in contributing to the successful completion of a project which enhanced performance within an area of responsibility
  • SAP based environment experience
  • Ability to successfully execute a competitive procurement including development of evaluation criteria
