This role is for a Senior Analyst in Procurement Supply Chain at RTX, responsible for purchasing direct materials, analyzing MRP output, ensuring continuous supply, managing supplier performance, and identifying cost reduction opportunities. The role requires a degree in Industrial Engineering or Business, at least 3 years of procurement experience, and strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Purchase of direct materials, chemicals, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality, and delivery targets.
  2. Responsible for analyzing the output of the MRP system, aligning material requirements within the supply base.
  3. Ensure continuous supply of required materials and communication of any supply problems which may pose risk or impact on business operations through daily order and supplier management.
  4. Evaluate areas of opportunity for cost reduction/savings to meet program budgets while ensuring compliance to business standards and procedures.
  5. Assess and evaluate suppliers and undertake performance reviews to ensure OTD and DPPM compliance and manage performance activities.

Skills

Required

  • Graduate of any Bachelor’s / College Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Studies/Administration/ Management or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in procurement.
  • Ability to create consensus to ensure results from peers in cross-functional positions.

  • Excellent time management and active communication skills.
  • Ability to manage conflict across multiple roles and teams.
  • Knowledge of inventory management processes and philosophies, including MRP & Just in Time (JIT).

  • Experience developing and delivering communications and presentations to both customers, public groups, and internal organizations (i.e., top management, boards of directors).
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with leadership (minimum – up to 2 levels up).
  • Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
