Sr. Analytics Program Manager, Middle Mile Supply and Routing Optimization

This role is for a Sr. Analytics Program Manager focused on optimizing Amazon's Middle Mile Transportation Technology. The role involves program management for supply optimization, driving process improvements, generating insights from data, and building automation solutions. The individual will work with business stakeholders, leverage advanced analytical skills, and create data-driven improvements to the transportation network. Responsibilities include data analysis using Excel and SQL, designing reporting solutions, and managing KPIs. While the team leverages ML and optimization techniques, this specific role is focused on program management and analytics, not direct AI/ML model development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Creating and implementing data driven improvements to Amazon's transportation network that deliver flexible and efficient products for our customers
  2. Designing and implementing feedback mechanisms to drive performance and cost improvement in processes
  3. Ability to deep dive and do root-cause analysis using data, and create metrics-driven, actionable, and sustainable solutions for the future
  4. Provide data management processes such as accessing raw data feeds, building queries and macros, writing VBA code, organizing data and designing reports that present status-at-a-glance visualization for business performance.
  5. Retrieving and analyzing large sets of data using Excel, SQL, and other data management systems.

Skills

Required

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

  • SQL

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
