Sr. Art Director, Interactive

Apple is seeking a Sr. Art Director for its Marcom Interactive Experiences group. This role will be responsible for envisioning and building best-in-class marketing and commerce design systems for Apple's digital platforms, including Apple.com, Apple Store App, and Apple Store Online. The Sr. Art Director will collaborate with creative leads and technical disciplines to create design systems that scale from iOS to Web, guiding projects from concept through production and delivery. The role requires strong strategic thinking, systematic design, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships.

  2. Present work to senior creative staff and stakeholders.
  3. Collaborate across teams to deliver performant, on-time, and magical experiences.
  4. Prepare and deliver comprehensive, pixel-perfect files to production partners.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of industry experience in product design, design systems, UI design for Web and/or iOS.
  • A portfolio that showcases strategic insight, systematic thinking and visual design talent for a range of digital experiences including web, mobile, and/or app.

Nice to have

  • Excellent design and conceptual skills accompanied by the ability to guide, evaluate, and redirect creative development when necessary
  • Highly skilled with design and prototyping software .
  • Very proficient with motion and interaction design.
  • Extensive knowledge of web/iOS production and basic front-end engineering skills.
  • Strong communicator with exceptional presentation skills, able to articulate ideas with clarity, engage in healthy debate, and accept directional feedback — up and down a creative organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging, fast-paced, creative workplace and to deliver quality work at a high volume in a tight timeframe
  • Experience building trust with multi-disciplinary partners on creative concepts and collaborating well with a team to find solutions to complex problems
  • Provides thoughtful guidance to junior creative staff, with an eye on mentorship and knowledge growth
  • Diligent, flexible, resourceful, and independent with a strong work ethic and organizational skills, willing to take risks, fail, and learn from mistakes
