This role supports the Corporate Finance function, focusing on business and financial strategy, monthly close processes, annual operating plans, and forecasting. It involves detailed reporting, analysis, and collaboration with Accounting and Capital Markets teams. The role also supports the Systems/Data team in optimizing a planning platform by developing dashboards and enhancing forecast models. A key responsibility is leveraging AI tools to automate manual processes and increase efficiencies.

What you'd actually do

  1. Support the monthly close process, monthly forecast, and annual operating plan
  2. Support balance sheet and cash flow management, including analysis, forecasting, planning, and scenario modeling
  3. Partner with Accounting, Capital Markets, and Finance teams to enhance forecast accuracy through deeper analysis and continuous improvement
  4. Work closely with the Accounting team to develop a strong understanding of key financial metrics and KPIs, support and gain insight into the monthly close process, perform deep-dive analyses into all components of working capital, and leverage internal and external benchmarking to evaluate and improve the accuracy and effectiveness of balance sheet and cash flow forecasting
  5. Collaborate with the Capital Markets team to conduct scenario analyses and develop pro forma models that assess the potential impact of financing activities on the financial statements

Skills

Required

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, or consulting
  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or relevant field
  • Strong understanding of the Balance Sheet components and its impact on cash flow generation
  • Expertise in Excel / Google Sheets
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills
  • Superior communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization

Nice to have

  • prior experience in treasury and at high-growth technology or financial technology startups
  • CPA preferred
  • experience with Pigment, AI LLMs, or SQL is a plus
  • A team-oriented mindset and a positive attitude
