What you'd actually do

  1. Day-to-day oversight of dataset metadata quality review processes. 2. Collect, analyze, and measure metadata quality and process data to initiate sustainable business practices and procedures and for reporting to senior leadership and executives; review data for trends and gaps in metadata quality that may require additional review.
  3. Resolve complex metadata quality issues or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret against FS DSP metadata policies, guidelines, or processes; escalate breakdowns in metadata processes by asking the right questions and identifying and involving the right stakeholders to correct breakdowns.
  4. Maintain formal process documents, including those related to metadata quality standards, and document processes and projects (creating project reports, presentations, business cases, and diagrams).
  5. Collaborate on larger data strategy initiatives, including representing the FS DSP metadata review function on broader change control forums for input and to represent department interests; challenge forum decisions if project outcome impacts dataset metadata processes.
