This role is for a Senior Partner Solutions Architect within AWS, focusing on the Financial Services (FSI) Banking industry. The primary responsibility is to accelerate the adoption of AWS cloud services by working with consulting and technology partners to build and deploy technical solutions for Banking customers. While the role involves understanding and evangelizing AI/ML solutions like Agentic and Generative AI, the core function is partner enablement and solution architecture, not direct AI/ML model development or research.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work with partners and customers to develop top of funnel sales opportunities with Banking customers.
  2. Partner with Account SAs, Sales, BusinessDevelopment and service development teams to accelerate customer adoption of partner solutions through enablement, technical architecture, customer workshops.
  3. Evangelize partners’ value proposition internally throughout AWS and externally with customers
  4. Establish AWS as the partner’s preferred cloud platform for financial services solutions and services.
  5. Provide the architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote successful engagements with partners in AMER.

Skills

Required

  • 10+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 8+ years experience working directly with Banking customers on cloud and AI adoption.
  • 10+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
