Sr. Business Manager - Fraud

This role is for a Sr. Business Manager focused on Partnership Fraud Strategy within Capital One. Responsibilities include setting and owning a roadmap for fraud mitigation, collaborating with Data Science and Product teams on new model features, implementing fraud rules, and driving key integration work for a financial merger. The role involves strategic leadership, business ownership, potential P&L accountability, and developing business strategies for growth and profitability. It also includes leading product development, marketing efforts, credit risk improvements, and cross-functional execution. Strong analytical, quantitative, business judgment, people leadership, and communication skills are required.

What you'd actually do

  1. Set and own a roadmap to improve Partnership fraud mitigation from good to great, while focusing on impactful CX interactions for Partnerships
  2. Work cross functionally with Data Science, Product, Investigators, and Program teams to deliver innovative new model features and capabilities
  3. Implement fraud rule & strategy changes
  4. In the short term - drive key Discover Integration work for fraud and be part of one of the largest financial mergers in US history
  5. Develop business strategies that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success for Capital One in the face of shifting consumer and regulatory behavior
