What you'd actually do

  1. Lead local merchandising and content strategy for Grocery and Retail
  2. Craft compelling consumer narratives using performance data, seasonality insights, and market trends
  3. Optimize the end-to-end shopping journey to drive engagement and conversion
  4. Own merchandising execution for high-impact marketing campaigns from planning through delivery
  5. Manage campaign prioritization, planning calendars, and timelines in partnership with Sales and Marketing

Skills

Required

  • 9+ years of experience in e-commerce, retail, marketplace, or consumer-facing businesses
  • Demonstrated ownership of merchandising, growth, or content-related initiatives
  • Strong analytical capabilities: SQL proficiency and experience using data to drive decisions and prioritization
  • Fluent in English and Japanese with ability to communicate effectively with senior, cross-functional stakeholders

  • Experience leading merchandising strategy, content optimization, or campaign execution in fast-paced, consumer environments
