This role is for a Senior Manager, Operations within Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) Implementation Services. The primary focus is to define and drive the regional operations strategy for Visa’s card benefits program in Asia Pacific. Responsibilities include leading transformation initiatives, establishing scalable operating frameworks, enhancing delivery performance, overseeing client onboarding, managing vendor relationships and contracts, building and leading a team, implementing analytics and reporting for performance visibility, driving financial discipline, and collaborating with internal stakeholders. The role requires strong operational strategy, vendor management, financial acumen, people leadership, stakeholder management, and experience in ambiguous environments. It is a product-focused role within the fintech domain, mature in its AI signals as it deals with established payment technology.

What you'd actually do

  1. Shape and Scale Operations: Lead the transformation of Visa’s card benefits operations across Asia Pacific, designing scalable frameworks, automation opportunities, and governance models to support long-term growth.
  2. Own Client Onboarding and Delivery: Oversee onboarding for new issuers and markets, managing vendor relationships, contracts, and financial processes—including POs, renewals, and top-ups—to ensure seamless implementation.
  3. Build Capabilities and Lead Talent: Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing operations team, championing a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  4. Operational Intelligence and Insight: Define and implement analytics and reporting frameworks that provide visibility into performance, benefits utilisation, and commercial optimisation opportunities.
  5. Drive Financial Discipline: Oversee billing, revenue, and expense recognition, ensuring accurate and efficient financial management across multiple markets.
