- Demonstrate the ability to articulate value propositions for the most strategic Microsoft products and services and uses business, technology and industry strategies to define customer/partner requirements and constraints
- Demonstrate expertise in a specific solution, or several products, feature functions, or services and drive opportunities to accelerate the adoption of the Microsoft Cloud
- Drive and support innovation focusing on industry solutions and customer business outcomes on the Microsoft platform
- Ensure solutions align with the intent of the architecture allowing for clear build test specifications and development of operations guides for the customer
- Identify business and technical risks in programs, assesses their impact and proposes mitigations and contingencies
- Provide stakeholder assistance throughout deployment to avoid/resolve technical issues
- Balance Configure-Before-Customize principles with the goals of maximum customer/partner value and with the use of Microsoft core/baseline assets, people, products and tools and develop project plans that use the full project life cycle accounting for current & future business value of each solution while defining all technical dependencies for project
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field OR equivalent 5+ years practical experience
Proven experience delivering enterprise application solutions on cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
Strong hands‑on experience in application development, integration, and modernization
Practical experience applying AI‑assisted development or AI capabilities within application solutions, such as:
- Integrating AI services or APIs into applications
- Using AI tools to enhance development productivity, testing, or solution quality
Familiarity with data platforms that support AI workloads (e.g., Azure SQL, Fabric, Databricks, Synapse)
Experience participating in end‑to‑end project delivery, including requirements analysis, solution design, build, test, and deployment
Ability to translate business requirements into technical and AI‑enabled application solutions
Experience identifying technical and solution risks, including data, AI, or integration risks, and proposing mitigations
Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written), with the ability to explain technical and AI concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
This role is designed to support government customers operating in a regulated environment. As a result, the position is subject to government procurement contracts and/or applicable legal requirements.
