This role is for a Senior Consulting Account Executive at Microsoft, focused on selling services and solutions that leverage AI and Microsoft Cloud. The primary responsibility is to drive customer value and achieve sales targets by aligning business goals with transformative solutions, managing the full sales cycle, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and partners. While AI is mentioned as a key component of the solutions sold, the core craft of the role is sales and account management, not building or researching AI models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the consulting virtual account team to bring customer visions to life through consultative selling, active listening, and continuous planning.
  2. Increase Unified penetration through strategic alignment with internal stakeholders and intentional selling.
  3. Identify and sell Industry Cloud solutions that solve customer challenges through co-innovation with partners and Microsoft teams, Including selling the Unified Mission Critical Portfolio and Security Services.
  4. Own the full sales cycle—from lead generation and qualification to deal closure—while driving Cloud consumption through sold projects and programs. Achieving sales targets by Quarter and Full Year.
  5. Leverage digital channels to uncover and develop new business opportunities.

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years industry sales experience in the commercial industries (e.g. FSI, Professional Services, etc)
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years industry sales experience in the commercial industries (e.g. FSI, Professional Services, etc) or related work
  • equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years consulting solution or Unified sales experience.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND 10+ years technology-related solution or consulting sales experience in the commercial industries (e.g. FSI, Professional Services, etc) or related work
  • Master's Degree in Business, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND 8+ years' experience in technology sales experience in the commercial industries (e.g. FSI, Professional Services, etc) or related work

  • Proven experience in consultative selling and digital engagement.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft methodologies and Industry Cloud solutions.
