Sr. Consulting Solution Engineer – Tactical Awareness/ Special Operations

The Sr. Consulting Solution Engineer for Tactical Awareness/Special Operations supports Public Safety and Government sales teams by providing technical expertise, designing solutions, and engaging in pre-sales activities. This role focuses on understanding customer needs and developing solutions leveraging T-Mobile's products and services, rather than hands-on network infrastructure.

What you'd actually do

  1. Supports Pre-sales Activities (including, but not limited to) provide RFP technical input, strategize with sales team to improve Regional/National sales, own customer technical relationships, understanding nuances, and drivers, design and architect services and solutions, uncover opportunities and recommend solutions, partners ability to review and demonstrate product roadmap to customers and sales team.
  2. Engaged to for Executive Briefing Center presentations.
  3. Identify and develop opportunities in the SLED/FED Public Safety space
  4. Assist with Go to Market strategy with sales, product, and 3rd party vendors to include 5G Advance Network/IoT Solutions supported deployment and sizing.
  5. Assist with training, technical documentation and development for the Solution Engineering and Government Sales organizations.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
  • 7-10 years - Experience in telecommunications, IT administration or network engineering roles with a professional track record of successful solution sales, managing internal/external relationships in a matrix environment.
  • Proven track record in building and developing relationships in the Military and Department of Defense/ War.
  • Technical Leadership
  • Communication Excellent oral and written communications; strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with public sector stakeholders.
  • Applications Proficiency with business application software.
  • Strategic Leadership Ability to provide strategic direction in a leadership role, particularly within complex government and education sales cycles.
  • Presentation skills are required to convey design benefits to a wide range of audiences.
