What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the subject matter expert for messaging and numbering issues.
  2. Draft internal legal memoranda, strategy briefs, and regulatory filings to advance company advocacy and positioning.
  3. Develop and lead strategy and advocacy efforts, including engagement with lawmakers and regulators, industry associations, and other internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Direct and manage law firm and consultant work streams within your issue areas.
  5. Monitor, review, and synthesize all regulatory proposals and filings, coalition positions, and agency activity into actionable internal guidance.

Skills

Required

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • 7-10 years of legal experience
