This role is for a Sr. Corporate Strategy Manager on the Pricing team at T-Mobile. The primary focus is on developing business logic and economic analysis for pricing decisions across the enterprise. The role involves coordinating workstreams, performing analyses, building economic and pricing models, and presenting recommendations to senior decision-makers. It requires strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with experience in quantitative fields and corporate strategy. The role does not directly involve AI/ML development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Frame problems with an enterprise-wide view: work closely with internal clients to understand key business issues and structure problem solving approaches.
  2. Extract and analyze data.
  3. Build economic, pricing, and other decision-making models, including scenario and sensitivity analysis to enhance decision making across a range of options.
  4. Synthesize recommendations and understand their impact on the business.
  5. Construct executive level presentations and present complex analytical findings in clear, concise, and decision-impacting manner.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 7 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 5 years of related experience
  • Business (Finance, Accounting, Finance), Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative/technical fields
  • Consulting-style" problem solving that can break complex ambiguous problems into pieces using a hypothesis-driven approach; structuring multiple workstreams and identify interdependencies.
  • Oversee and perform a broad array of analytic capabilities: descriptive analytics on big data sets, predictive analytics, complex economic and pricing modeling, etc.
  • Build logical narrative structures independently tailored to executives and create compelling visualizations
  • Proficiency with reading and understanding implications of income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements
  • Contextually modulate language and message to tailor to audience (presenting up to SVP level)
