Sr. Cpu Rtl Front End Methodology Engineer

Intel Intel · Semiconductors · Texas, Austin, United States +2

This role focuses on leveraging AI tools and methodologies to improve RTL coding and silicon development processes within Intel's microprocessor design. The engineer will provide technical leadership, develop strategies for RTL optimization, and collaborate with various design teams. While AI tools are used to enhance efficiency, the core deliverable is not an AI model or agent, but rather improvements in the CPU design process.

What you'd actually do

  1. Demonstrated leadership and hands-on experience in leveraging AI tools and methodologies to drive significant efficiency gains and improvements in RTL coding and other areas of silicon development.
  2. Proactively advances front-end methodologies and contributes to architectural and microarchitectural discussions to enhance scalability and flexibility.
  3. Develops and implements strategies, tools, and techniques for RTL development and logic optimization, ensuring designs meet power, performance, area, and timing targets, as well as physical design integrity.
  4. Possesses a comprehensive understanding of both front-end and back-end flows, with a proven track record of delivering solutions across multiple domains.
  5. Collaborates effectively with architecture, backend, and other design teams to deliver industry-leading products.
