This role focuses on designing, building, and governing agentic creative workflows using generative AI and automation tools within the AWS Brand & Creative organization. The Creative Technologist will identify opportunities to reduce production burden, pilot new creative technology platforms, define standards for AI usage, and train colleagues on these new capabilities. The role emphasizes the intersection of creative craft, emerging technology, and production systems, aiming to enhance brand-compliant asset production at scale.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with Marketing Technology and AI team on designing, building, and governing agentic creative workflows that enable the AWS Marketing team to produce brand-compliant assets at speed and scale
  2. Identify where generative AI, automation, and agentic tools can reduce repetitive production burden — and where human creative judgment must remain in the loop
  3. Partner with the Marketing Technology teams to pilot and evaluate emerging creative technology platforms (generative AI, content automation, dynamic creative optimization) before broader organizational adoption
  4. Define and document prompt engineering standards, AI output review protocols, and brand compliance guardrails for AI-generated creative
  5. Contribute directly to creative production across formats - digital, motion, social, and campaign with a point of view on craft and brand integrity
