Senior Data Scientist at Visa to partner with North America FP&A to embed advanced analytics and data science capabilities into finance decision-making. This role will analyze large, complex datasets across transactions, volumes, pricing, and client behavior to provide actionable insights and predictive models for revenue, cost of volume, macroeconomic drivers, and strategic growth pillars. The candidate will develop repeatable analytical frameworks, translate complex results into executive-ready narratives, and mentor others in analytic techniques.

What you'd actually do

  1. Apply big data techniques (including artificial intelligence) to analyze high-volume, high-granularity datasets across transactions, volumes, pricing, and client behavior.
  2. Design and build statistical and econometric models, including regressions, forecasts, scenario analyses, and sensitivity analyses, to explain and predict financial performance.
  3. Develop repeatable analytical frameworks (not one-off analyses) that can be reused across planning cycles, forecasts, and strategic reviews.
  4. Translate complex analytical results into clear, executive-ready narratives for FP&A leadership and business stakeholders that go beyond insights to strategic recommendations
  5. Develop visualizations to make your sophisticated analyses accessible to a broad audience
