Sr. Designer, Social & Performance Marketing

This role is for a Sr. Designer focused on Social & Performance Marketing at Rivian. The designer will create visual assets for paid media channels, customer emails, and other high-stakes communications, ensuring brand consistency and performance. Responsibilities include designing static and motion assets for paid channels, creating email templates, and ensuring brand standards are met. The role requires proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, experience with design systems, and an understanding of A/B testing and performance iteration. Technical knowledge of HTML/CSS for email and asset specifications for paid platforms is also necessary. Experience with enterprise ESP/CRM platforms, dynamic content, and AI tools is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and produce high-impact static and motion assets for paid channels (social, search, display, CTV), adhering to platform best practices and sizing requirements.
  2. Design pixel-perfect, mobile-first email templates and assets (graphics, photos, GIFs, modular blocks) for lifecycle, promotional, and transactional flows.
  3. Support executive presentations, internal newsletters, and Corporate Communications projects as they come up.
  4. Ensure all creative ladders up to Rivian brand standards and maintains visual consistency across channels.
  5. Work within the constraints of HTML/CSS for email to guarantee clean rendering across major clients (Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail) and devices.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years designing and producing digital content
  • Figma Fluency
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Experience working with design systems and component libraries at scale
  • Experience testing creative variants, reading results, and iterating
  • Solid working knowledge of HTML/CSS constraints for email
