Sr. Digital Product Owner

The Sr. Digital Product Owner will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of Caterpillar's digital platform and applications. This role involves managing multiple projects, working with developers in specific environments (AEM/HCL Commerce), utilizing Agile tools, and overseeing the software development lifecycle from problem identification to testing and deployment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of Caterpillar’s state-of-the-art digital platform
  2. Build a world class platform to host a wide range of digital applications
  3. Perform all programming, project management, and development assignments without close supervision; normally assigned the more complex aspects of systems work
  4. Work on complex application/technical problem identification and resolution, including responding to off-shift and weekend support calls
  5. Drive application development focused around delivering business valuable features

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or related field
  • 6 years of experience as Digital Product Owner, Project Manager, Software Engineer or related position
  • Leading a technical team while managing multiple projects
  • Working with developers in an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or HCL Commerce environment
  • Managing projects using Agile software tools (Mingle, DevOps/VSTS, JIRA, Team Services, Rally)
  • Software change request management
  • Resolving software problems
  • Managing software product vision
  • UAT activities and acceptance testing
  • Software development lifecycle
