What you'd actually do

  1. Improve Dimensional performance of vehicle throughout the product life cycle
  2. Develop/Manage the list of critical product and process characteristics and control their geometry in vehicle builds to produce quality assemblies
  3. Support parts and system validation processes for all body geometry and proactively lead variation reduction efforts for the body shop (goal of achieving Cp/Cpk > 1.33 for all critical features and sustaining those levels through product life cycle)
  4. Lead cross functional teams through Root cause analysis of dimensional issues in the plant, launch support & interfacing with suppliers to recommend and evaluate corrective actions and drive process standardization through documenting of projects
