Sr. Director, Acceptance Solutions Management

Senior Director of Acceptance Solutions for North America at Visa, responsible for the success of Visa's Acceptance Solutions. This role involves working with Product teams to articulate the value of offerings like the Visa Acceptance Platform to partners, refining product strategy, managing client needs and roadmaps, and providing feedback on go-to-market efforts. The position requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, a technical background in payments, and experience in B2B product commercialization and client engagement.

What you'd actually do

  1. Closely partner with Global Acceptance Solutions leaders to set the product vision for Acquirer, Payfac, ISO and other reseller partners in the North American region and to deliver solutions on-time aligned with our wider go-to-market campaigns.
  2. Support and deliver regional product roadmaps that extend Visa’s relevance beyond our core network assets.
  3. Partner with regional commercialization leaders to build, execute, and monitor go-to-market motions so Solutions are easy to sell, easy to buy and easy to implement.
  4. Architect client-centric joint solutions including build, implementation, and post-launch optimization:

Skills

Required

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
  • A deep understanding of the payment industry, including sufficient technical knowledge to understand client integration pain points
  • Proven track record of B2B product commercialization and delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large, cross-functional (e.g. product, sales, strategy, marketing) teams in matrixed, ambiguous and cross-regional environments
  • Demonstrated ability to build sustainable, collaborative relationships with regulators, industry groups and governments
  • Ability to work independently within a complex and often ambiguous environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to stakeholders and to juggle multiple initiatives at once
  • Ability to tell the story of the value of Visa’s Acceptance Solutions to internal and external audiences of varying technical expertise
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
