This role is for a Sr. Director, Account Executive at Visa, focusing on shaping and executing commercial strategy for Peru's issuing and ecosystem players business. What you'd actually do

  1. Lead Peru’s Client Strategy: Lead and execute the commercial vision for Peru’s issuing and payment ecosystem business, aligning with country priorities while identifying new growth levers. Drive innovation in client strategies. Owned end-to-end relationships, ensuring long-term value creation, client satisfaction, and sustained business impact.
  2. Lead a high-performing sales team, fostering culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
  3. Business development and account growth: Proactively identify and unlock new business opportunities, expanding beyond traditional offerings into high-value, strategic initiatives.
  4. Drive upselling and cross-selling with existing accounts, ensuring strong execution and product adoption.
  5. Lead complex negotiations and deals structuring, partnering with specialist teams to deliver tailored, high-impact solutions.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in the payments industry
  • Proven track record in sales, business development, and client management

  • Comprehensive understanding of the Peru and LAC payment ecosystems
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and build consensus among senior decision-makers and stakeholders
