Sr. Director, Ecomm Strategy

Senior Director role focused on defining and driving Visa's global eCommerce strategy, identifying growth drivers, shaping product-level strategies (e.g., Passkeys), and accelerating priority markets. This involves market analysis, stakeholder management, and leading a strategy team within the payments and financial services domain.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and refine Visa global eCommerce strategy, in alignment with our 2030 initiatives and business objectives.
  2. Identify and size new drivers of eCommerce growth (e.g., performance, underpenetrated verticals, new value propositions, etc.)
  3. Identify and evaluate emerging trends, competitive threats, and partnership opportunities across eCommerce, digital payments, and adjacent sectors.
  4. Define product‑level strategies across the authentication and eCommerce portfolio
  5. Lead priority market acceleration initiatives with regions. Feed learnings back into global strategy & product development

Skills

Required

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in eCommerce, payments, financial services, or technology, with at least 7 years in a senior strategy or program leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in eCommerce industry dynamics, including platform ecosystems, digital payments, merchant and issuer needs, and regulatory landscapes.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale, complex strategic programs across global and matrixed organizations.
  • Strong product & business acumen.
  • Highly analytical and data-driven.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills at the executive level.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to operate effectively across a matrixed organization (functions & geographies) to drive positive outcomes.
