Sr Director Pmo & Engagement Leader - Forge & AI

Honeywell Honeywell · Industrial · Atlanta, GA +1

This role leads the PMO and engagement strategy for Honeywell's Forge & AI technology investment, focusing on converting strategic AI and software initiatives into measurable business outcomes. The Senior Director will act as an execution architect, driving software strategy, coordinating product delivery, and managing the AI lifecycle from concept to enterprise-scale deployment. Key responsibilities include building a centralized PMO, defining the software growth strategy, managing the portfolio governance, scaling AI and software from concept to production, driving benefits realization, and building a high-performing PMO team. The role requires extensive experience in program/portfolio leadership, delivering complex technology or AI/software platform programs, and influencing senior technical leaders.

What you'd actually do

  1. Continue to stand up a centralized PMO operating model, including governance cadence, portfolio reporting, and stage-gate discipline calibrated to accelerate, not hinder, AI and software delivery.
  2. Establish the software strategy required to drive recurring growth (ARR), including the deployment of policies, processes, and governance that enable effective Product and Commercialization (PAC) execution across business sites as part of the NPI lifecycle.
  3. Act as the single point of contact for all software engagement across the Strategic Business Groups (SBGs), aligning business priorities with execution and delivery while ensuring consistent stakeholder engagement and accountability across the portfolio.
  4. Own end-to-end governance across AI platforms, software products, product releases, and transformation initiatives, including resourcing trade-offs, dependency management, risk escalation, and executive portfolio reviews that drive actionable decisions.
  5. Partner directly with engineering, data, product, and business leaders to create delivery frameworks that move AI and software initiatives from proof-of-concept to enterprise-scale deployment.
