As **Senior Director, Program Management Office (PMO) & Engagement Leader - Forge & AI **at Honeywell Technologies, you will lead the execution backbone for one of Honeywell’s most visible technology investments, helping Forge & AI convert strategic AI and software investment into measurable business outcomes at speed and scale.
You will serve as an execution architect and lead an exceptional PMO function and drive a software strategy, ensuring alignment with Forge growth objectives and coordinating product delivery and engineering investments. This is a high-visibility seat. You will be in the room for portfolio decisions that shape how AI initiatives move from pilot to enterprise scale, and your judgment on prioritization and risk will directly influence what Forge & AI delivers.
You will report directly to the VP Chief Technology Officer – Forge & AI and work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a hybrid work schedule.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES **
Build the Function
- Continue to stand up a centralized PMO operating model, including governance cadence, portfolio reporting, and stage-gate discipline calibrated to accelerate, not hinder, AI and software delivery.
- Design for a fast-moving technology organization, not a traditional heavyweight enterprise PMO.
Define and Execute the Software Growth Strategy
- Establish the software strategy required to drive recurring growth (ARR), including the deployment of policies, processes, and governance that enable effective Product and Commercialization (PAC) execution across business sites as part of the NPI lifecycle.
- Ensure software products and technology-forward innovations are successfully executed, scaled, and deployed to customer sites.
Serve as Forge’s Business Engagement Leader
- Act as the single point of contact for all software engagement across the Strategic Business Groups (SBGs), aligning business priorities with execution and delivery while ensuring consistent stakeholder engagement and accountability across the portfolio.
Run the Portfolio
- Own end-to-end governance across AI platforms, software products, product releases, and transformation initiatives, including resourcing trade-offs, dependency management, risk escalation, and executive portfolio reviews that drive actionable decisions.
- Lead the Forge Program Management team to deliver strategic commitments, establish operational focus and clarity (FOC), and enable successful execution across the organization.
Scale AI and Software From Concept to Production
- Partner directly with engineering, data, product, and business leaders to create delivery frameworks that move AI and software initiatives from proof-of-concept to enterprise-scale deployment.
- Embed responsible AI, software governance, and commercialization standards from inception through deployment.
- Ensure critical strategic software partnerships are effectively planned, managed, and executed to achieve targeted business outcomes.
Own the Numbers
- Drive benefits realization, ARR growth objectives, and ROI accountability across the portfolio.
- Partner with Finance and business leaders to ensure every initiative is tied to measurable outcomes, including revenue growth, productivity gains, customer impact, and software adoption.
- Ensure Forge AOP planning and execution are rigorously managed and supported through appropriate EOPS activities and operational rhythms.
Build Trusted Advisor Relationships
- Serve as a strategic advisor to VP/SVP-level leaders, including the CTO and President of Forge & AI, providing objective insight on execution health, risks, and investment priorities.
- Influence outcomes across a complex global matrix where credibility, judgment, and business acumen are as important as process excellence.
Build the Team
- Hire, develop, and scale a high-performing PMO organization, including Directors and Program Managers, with defined career paths, capability frameworks, and best practices in program management, software delivery, AI execution, and business transformation.
YOU MUST HAVE
12+ years in program/portfolio leadership, including experience building a PMO function in a matrixed global organization
Direct experience delivering complex technology or AI/software platform programs, with an understanding of the AI lifecycle from concept to production, not just project plans
A track record of influencing senior technical leaders who don't default to deferring to process
Demonstrated comfort holding both rigor and speed in tension, knowing when governance accelerates or hinders delivery
Familiarity with Agile/SAFe and modern delivery models, adapting frameworks to the organization not the other way around
WE VALUE
Ability to navigate a complex global matrix and work cross-functionally
Executive communication and presence with the ability to partner with and influence multiple stakeholders
Experience operating across US and India delivery models
