This role is for a Senior Director of Project Delivery and Management at Oracle, focusing on overseeing a broad portfolio of global capital projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing the entire project lifecycle, collaborating with municipal authorities and stakeholders, and ensuring regulatory compliance, budget, and schedule adherence. The role involves strategic planning, financial management, risk mitigation, and fostering continuous improvement in project delivery processes. Experience with large-scale developments and public-private partnerships is essential.

What you'd actually do

  1. Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from design and construction through commissioning, closeout, and handover to operations.
  2. Develop and implement strategic project delivery vision and plans that align with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.
  3. Develop and manage multi-year capital budgets to ensure projects remain within financial constraints and deliver expected value.
  4. Lead proactive approaches to project management by establishing and implementing key metrics to regularly assess and report on the health of projects including budget, schedule, scope, risks, and other critical success factors, ensuring early identification and resolution of potential issues.
  5. Provide executive-level reporting on project budgets, schedules, risks, and mitigation strategies.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, or related field
  • 15+ years of experience in construction project management
  • Strong background in ground-up development
  • Demonstrated success in leading mega-scale projects ($1B+) from concept through completion
  • Extensive experience in construction oversight
  • Proven track record of managing architects, engineers, and consultants
  • Expertise in working with municipalities
  • Strong understanding of capital budgeting, financial modeling, and public-private partnership structures
  • Experience managing large cross-functional teams
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Multidisciplinary understanding of real estate, facilities, engineering, construction project
