This role provides enterprise leadership for Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality technology across DePuy Synthes, a global leader in Orthopaedics. The Sr. Director is responsible for defining and executing the digital strategy that enables reliable product supply, compliant manufacturing, and strong quality outcomes at scale. The role involves leading the application of AI, advanced analytics, and automation to modernize supply chain platforms, improve forecasting and planning, and ensure regulatory compliance. It requires experience in IT/digital leadership within regulated industries and managing large-scale global technology programs.

What you'd actually do

  1. Set and lead the end‑to‑end technology strategy for Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality, aligned to DePuy Synthes business priorities and regulatory requirements.
  2. Own the application and data landscape supporting planning, sourcing, manufacturing execution, quality management, and distribution, ensuring stability, scalability, and compliance.
  3. Partner with business leaders to translate operational needs into roadmaps, investments, and measurable outcomes, including cost, service, and quality improvements.
  4. Lead large, cross‑functional programs such as ERP, MES, QMS, serialization, and advanced analytics initiatives across global sites.
  5. Lead the application of AI, advanced analytics, and automation to modernize supply chain platforms, improving demand forecasting, planning accuracy, and end‑to‑end decision-making while driving efficient and resilient supply chain operations at scale.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • 12-14 years of progressive experience in IT or digital leadership roles supporting Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and/or Quality in a regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of end-to-end supply planning and production planning in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of S&OP / IBP processes
  • Demonstrated success leading large‑scale, global technology programs and complex transformations.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and quality systems (e.g., ERP, MES, QMS) and data‑driven decision making.
  • Experience operating in highly regulated industries with strong compliance and validation expectations.
  • People leadership experience, including building diverse, inclusive teams
