This role is a Senior District Sales Manager for solid tumors (urology) in Shanghai, China, within Johnson & Johnson's Pharmaceutical Sales division. The primary focus is on leading a sales team, developing and executing sales strategies, analyzing market and competitor data, and ensuring the achievement of brand and team objectives. The role involves performance management, account targeting, and managing operational aspects of the team, with eligibility for sales commissions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manages a team of individual contributors and/or Supervisors, and is accountable for conducting effective performance management.
  2. Directs operation of sales strategy and manages activities required to maximize brand objectives across sales and marketing.
  3. Analyzes competitor issues, business and economic data, industry and trade journals/statistics, sales trends, and ongoing intelligence from both internal and external sources.
  4. Stays current on product knowledge, sales objectives, and industry developments and anticipates consumer needs for Cardiovascular & Metabolism products and/or services.
  5. Ensures efficient and effective account targeting and coverage across team in scope of responsibility.
