This role is a Senior Engagement Manager within Databricks' Professional Services organization, focusing on the Latin America region. The primary responsibility is to act as a trusted advisor to customers, leading large, complex programs for successful implementation and value realization of Databricks' Data Intelligence Platform. This involves strategic leadership, driving sales of Professional Services & Training programs, identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role requires extensive experience in professional services, customer-facing roles, and a strong understanding of Databricks' offerings and architecture.

What you'd actually do

  1. Independently scope and lead large, complex initiatives with multiple workstreams and diverse stakeholders.
  2. Drive the full-cycle sales of standard and customized Professional Services & Training (PS&T) programs, pulling in best practices for Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and migrations.
  3. Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing customers to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  4. Partner with Sales and GTM teams to prioritize regional PS&T targets aligned with growth goals.
  5. Proactively monitor customer sentiment and take corrective actions or escalate to ensure high satisfaction.

Skills

Required

  • 7-10 years running a Professional Services line of business
  • 10+ years in senior customer-facing roles
  • Deep understanding of PS&T offerings
  • Strong knowledge of Databricks architecture, competitors, and migration benefits
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale program plans and service delivery
