We're hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the team that builds and operates that foundation inside one of Adobe's flagship products. You will be leading a team that is building AI assistants and agentic workflows on top of LLMs, understanding what breaks at scale, and making the calls that turn a promising prototype into something millions of people actually use. You don't need to fine-tune models. But you need to deeply understand how they're wired together into something that works.

What you'll do!
- Lead, grow, and develop a team of strong engineers by attracting top talent, mentoring through change, and crafting the conditions for great work.
- Drive the technical direction for the AI framework underpinning every AI experience in Adobe Express.
- Own delivery end-to-end, architecture choices, execution risk, dependencies, and clear signal to senior leadership on what matters.
- Partner closely with product, research, and development to turn ambitious AI ideas into systems that actually scale.
- Stay ahead of where the field is going with new models, new patterns, new evaluation methods and translate that into product impact.
- Build a team culture that's inclusive, candid, fast paced, and genuinely fun to be part of.
What you bring!
- 12+ years in software engineering, with 4+ years leading engineering teams through real product delivery.
- Hands-on experience building AI-powered features on top of LLMs, you have worked with prompt pipelines, tool calling, RAG, or agent orchestration frameworks and understand what it takes to move from prototype to production at scale. You deeply understand how models are wired together into something that works. Experience with fine-tuning models is a bonus.
- An insatiable curiosity about where AI is heading. You follow model releases, read the papers, track new frameworks, and translate what's emerging into decisions that matter for your team and product.
- A track record of driving AI adoption beyond a single team by defining success metrics, crafting governance practices, and enabling safe, scalable usage across an organization.
- Strong technical depth and the analytical instincts to make sharp calls with incomplete information.
- Experience leading in diverse, global, collaborative environments.
- A Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
- A real sense of humor. The work is serious; we don't have to be.
