Sr Facilities Specialist

This role is for a Senior Facilities Specialist responsible for ensuring a safe, healthy, and secure environment at a customer experience center (call center). Key responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations such as light maintenance, vendor coordination, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The role also involves coordinating events, managing supplies, space management, and financial activities related to facility operations. Experience in facilities, maintenance, or related fields is required, with a preference for experience in multi-building, campus, or call center environments.

What you'd actually do

  1. Handle light facility maintenance such as electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  2. Manage vendor services such as janitorial, café, landscaping to ensure quality and timely service, ultimately a safe and functional environment for staff and visitors.
  3. Support security, audits, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  4. Coordinate events, signage, mailroom operations, and shipping/receiving
  5. Order and manage supplies, equipment, and inventory.

Skills

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • facilities, maintenance, or related experience
  • Vendor management and coordination experience
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice to have

  • Experience in a multi-building, campus, or call center environment
  • Exposure to HVAC, mechanical systems, or furniture systems
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to support employees and site leadership
