Sr. Financial Analyst II - Revenue

This role is for a Sr. Financial Analyst II - Revenue at CrowdStrike, a cybersecurity company. The role focuses on financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting of ARR and revenue, supporting senior management decision-making and the company-wide planning process. What you'd actually do

  1. Drive the financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning for various areas of the revenue model
  2. Develop strong assumptions to drive accuracy in bookings, ARR, and revenue forecasting
  3. Support the month-end financial close activities for bookings and revenue, including forecast versus actuals analysis and reporting
  4. Serve as the primary point of contact to the Alliances team on all contra revenue related inquiries and analyses
  5. Work closely with the Accounting team to ensure all data driven contra revenue reporting and forecasting is complete and accurate

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field
  • 4-6+ years of experience in an investment bank, management consulting firm, and/or a high-growth private or public technology company in a finance/strategy/sales ops role
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS finance and accounting metrics – calculation of ACV bookings, ARR, churn/contraction, dollar retention rates, etc.
  • High aptitude and excellent analytical skills for complex problem solving and financial modeling
  • Must be a self-starter who is comfortable advancing the ball with minimal direction or oversight
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience using big data
  • Clear understanding of GAAP accounting and revenue recognition
  • Complete proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Nice to have

  • MBA desired
  • familiarity with Saleforce.com, Tableau, Adaptive Insights Planning, and NetSuite a plus
