This role is for a Sr. Financials Functional Consultant at Workday, a company that describes itself as a leading AI platform for managing people, money, and agents. What you'd actually do

  1. Work closely with the customer's project team to design, configure and deploy their functional requirements.
  2. Become an expert in the Workday Financial Management product suite
  3. Perform the following on an engagement: understand client business requirements, configure the Workday solution, demonstrate the configurations through the development of prototype systems, assist the client in testing the Workday solution
  4. Work with the client to help convert legacy data into Workday
  5. Assist the integration consulting team to configure and test integrations between Workday and third party/custom solutions

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years implementing Financial, and/or Expense Management ERP solutions (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, NetSuite, Lawson, etc.) as either a consultant or customer
  • Previous consulting experience with a consulting/software company
  • Functional expertise in at least one of the following areas: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Procurement, Asset Management, Projects, Expense Management, Financial Reporting, or Budgeting
  • Workday Financials Expertise
