What you'd actually do

  1. Write and maintain robust, efficient, and testable code using top-tier languages, frameworks, and tools, including TypeScript, Kotlin, Spring, Webflux, Node.js, Express, React, and Cypress.
  2. Support services and customers in specific high-security air gapped environments from frontend to backend.
  3. Design and lead meaningful features with a strong focus on non-functional requirements. (scalability, performance, monitoring, maintenance, security, usability and quality, etc.)
  4. Be a flexible teammate as part of a fast-paced product development team.
  5. Provide technical influence within the team, with ability to lead technical & functional discussions.

Skills

Required

  • US Citizenship
  • 7+ years of professional programming experience building enterprise-level software with a focus on performance, scalability and security
  • Experience using Kotlin and/or Java; and Spring Boot or similar JVM-based frameworks.
  • Experience using TypeScript, targeting browser and/or Node.js.
  • Experience supporting critical customer-facing services in production environments.
  • Experience with build and deployment technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Gradle and modern CI/CD systems.
  • Proficient in producing high quality technical documentation.
  • Demonstrable track record in technical leadership

Nice to have

  • Experience on an Operations or DevOps team
  • Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • Knowledge of Workday XpressO and Internal Code Lifecycle Development in Workday
