This role is for a Sr. GenAI/ML Sales Specialist at Amazon AWS, focusing on driving sales and adoption of AI/ML services in the SOLA region. The specialist will be responsible for pipeline creation, revenue growth, identifying customer challenges solvable by AI/ML, and collaborating with internal teams to close opportunities. The role requires consultative sales experience, a strong understanding of the AI/ML technology stack, and the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive pipeline creation, adoption, and revenue growth for AWS AI/ML services across assigned accounts and segments in the SOLA region.
  2. Align with AGS SOLA Area leadership to define and execute sales plays, partner engagements, and field enablement initiatives.
  3. Identify opportunities to solve customer challenges with AI/ML, translating technical capabilities into business value for senior stakeholders.
  4. Surface customer insights and feature gaps to AWS product teams, helping shape the AI/ML roadmap to better serve the region.
  5. Partner with Account Managers, Solution Architects, and Data Scientists to close complex, high-value opportunities.

Skills

Required

  • Consultative sales or business development experience in enterprise technology
  • Selling AI/ML or GenAI solutions with direct pipeline and quota responsibility
  • Building executive-level relationships (VP, C-suite) and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of the AI/ML technology stack (model training, inference, data pipelines, foundation models, AI agents)
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms
  • Communicate fluently in English and Spanish, in technical and business settings (verbal and written)
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience

Nice to have

  • AI/ML certificates or diploma
  • Knowledge of data platform concepts, both from a business and technical angle
  • Experience of working with Technology Partners (Software Vendors, System Integrators) in the data & GenAI & AI/ML space
