This role is for a Sr. GenAI Strategist focused on supporting startup customers in leveraging generative AI technologies to accelerate growth and achieve business outcomes. The strategist will partner with founders, VCs, and internal AWS teams to craft startup-specific programs, optimize inference costs, and develop investor-ready AI roadmaps. The role emphasizes connecting business value with scalable approaches and building relationships within the startup and VC ecosystem.

What you'd actually do

  1. Bring alignment between startup founders, technical leaders, and business stakeholders; help them explore the art of the possible with generative AI and machine learning, and develop a roadmap to deliver business value with startup-appropriate speed and capital efficiency
  2. Serve as a senior thought leader within the team, mentoring junior strategists and shaping the overall startup engagement methodology
  3. Discuss complex AI/ML business concepts with startup executives, VCs, and technical founders across stages from seed to growth
  4. Engage with various AWS teams, including applied scientists, solutions architects, business development, marketing, startup specialists, partners, and regional organizations
  5. Drive strategic engagements with high-potential startups from ideation, through vision building and scoping, all the way to closure and into delivery

Skills

Required

  • cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
  • machine learning engineers management experience
  • Experience working in or supporting sales, with preference for startup or high-growth company contexts
  • Experience launching technical programs, projects, or related work that include the following: big data, analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning

  • Experience communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences in pre-sales environments
  • Experience presenting to both technical and non-technical executive audiences
