Sr. Global Supply Manager I

Samsara is seeking a Sr. Global Supply Manager to manage the sourcing of electromechanical components, drive collaboration with engineering and operations, and ensure supply chain resilience. The role involves cost modeling, negotiation, supplier management, and market analysis to support product development and scalable production.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead sourcing of electromechanical components such as, cables, connectors, batteries and other electromechanical components.
  2. Work collaboratively with internal teams on sourcing strategy, market analysis and conducting trade-off analysis reviews and supplier roadmaps with engineers
  3. Evaluate, assess, develop and manage supply base to enable quick prototype deployment from new product development, introduction to scalable production with JDM partners
  4. Provide insights on industry best in class technology and manufacturing options with optimized supply chain setup for total cost ownership
  5. Negotiate contracts and source alternative suppliers as needed to mitigate risk

Nice to have
