Figure AI is seeking a Senior Hardware Analysis Engineer specializing in aerodynamics and acoustics for their humanoid robots. The role involves leading CFD simulations, designing and optimizing cooling systems for efficiency and acoustic quality, and performing aeroacoustic modeling and NVH analysis. The engineer will build and validate CFD models and correlate them with testing data.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead CFD simulations for all active cooling systems.
  2. Design and optimize fans, heat sinks and flow paths for maximum efficiency and acoustic quality.
  3. Perform aeroacoustic modeling and NVH analysis to minimize noise and vibration.
  4. Build and validate CFD models for steady-state and transient flow simulations, and correlate these models through wind tunnel, bench, and acoustic chamber testing to improve prediction accuracy.
