We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Amazon Human Resources team as the Human Resources Leader to drive the development and implementation of HR strategy in support of our EU Business Finance Organisation. The HR Leader role is both a strategic and hands on role and is critical in building and executing our people initiatives across the EU organization including improving organizational effectiveness & design, leading change management, providing leadership coaching and driving HR functional excellence. We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Leader who can effectively interact with business leaders at all levels, possesses excellent communication skills, strong business acumen, and works effectively across multiple geographies.
Key job responsibilities In this position you will partner with the various senior leaders (VPs and Directors) along with their respective leadership teams to develop and execute the HR strategies and planning activities that foster organizational and people effectiveness. The individual in this role must understand business priorities and translate them into an HR agenda that supports the business. The HR Leader will serve as a liaison between the business and the central corporate teams to assess the human resources needs in areas such as performance management, employee relations, compensation, career development and leadership development.
We are looking for Human Resource professionals who have the ability to diagnose problems as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions. The role will require the ability to leverage data to establish HR priorities and operating mechanisms to drive change. The individual in this role must be able to interface effectively with professionals at all levels of the organization. You will need a strong data analytics background, excellent communication skills, executive coaching skills, strategic thinking and planning/project management skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to travel within the EU and the US as appropriate.
The individual should demonstrate curiosity and hands-on adoption of AI tools and resources to enhance HR effectiveness, including using generative AI, HR analytics platforms, and automation to streamline people processes, improve data-driven decision-making, and scale HR impact across a distributed workforce.

About the team The team owns and drives the strategic people agenda for Corporate Teams (Finance, Legal, Public Policy and Communications & Corporate Responsibility) for all International geos (Non-US) of Amazon.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Business/Management, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience working with large global teams
- Extensive experience in an HR Business Partner role, preferably in a high-tech environment
- Experience working with global teams, driving organizational change initiatives, and developing talent management plans for a global organization
- Experience in Project/Program management
- Ability to relate to, influence and coach employees at all levels in the organization Proven ability to diagnose problems using strategic thinking skills , data analysis as well as identify and drive appropriate solutions
- Travel up to 5-20% of the time regularly throughout the assigned region and internationally
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or above in Human Resources, Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Business/Management, Psychology, or a related field
- Experience supporting senior management in large, corporate environments or equivalent
- Experience in organizational leadership and development or talent management, with experience in a senior leadership role
- Experience coaching and mentoring at the management level
- Experience using data and metrics to influence senior leadership and drive organizational change
- Experience dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems
- Experience working cross-functionally and across regions
- HR lead experience for multiple countries in the EU and knowledge of regulatory practices
- Experience in adoption and strategic application of AI tools and resources within the HR function — including generative AI for workforce analytics, talent planning, and HR communications
- Hands-on leader who is continually and deeply engaged in the business to understand the current and future talent needs and to be able to provide insight\input on the health of the organization
