This role is for a Sr. Human Resources Administrator at Chewy, responsible for providing administrative support to the HR function, including employee onboarding, record keeping, HRIS entry, and acting as a point of contact for HR-related issues. The position requires strong computer skills, proficiency in MS Office, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Conducts new employee orientations on-site to ensure employees gain an understanding of benefit plans, policies, and procedures.
  2. Monitors “call-off line” and processes other time off requests to ensure accuracy of absenteeism tracking.
  3. Processes punch and payroll adjustments to ensure accuracy of time sheets. Processes changes within deadlines.
  4. Maintains employee files, initiates drug and background screenings, and conducts routine file audits.
  5. Writes, revises, edits and proofreads company policies & procedures and related documents as needed. Uses electronic benefits bulletin board and other vehicles to communicate information. Produces the Company telephone directory.
