Sr Innovation Engineer, Ihub, Innovation and Engagement

Amazon Amazon · Big Tech · Singapore · Solutions Architect

Senior Innovation Engineer role focused on building end-to-end, executive-grade AI/ML demos and prototypes for the AWS APJ Innovation Hub. The role involves rapid prototyping, architecting serverless solutions, integrating various AWS AI/ML services (Bedrock, SageMaker, Bedrock Agents), and developing reusable components and templates to accelerate future builds. Emphasis on showcasing AWS capabilities, staying current with new service launches, and ensuring prototypes meet high UX and operational standards.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead end-to-end development of new use cases and interactive demonstrations, from concept to deployed prototype
  2. Build fullstack prototypes using modern web technologies. Our current reference stack is React/TypeScript frontends, Python Lambda backends, and CDK infrastructure, with AWS AI/ML services (Bedrock, SageMaker, Bedrock Agents, AgentCore) as the core capability layer. You'll work within this stack and help evolve it.
  3. Translate customer business challenges into compelling technical demonstrations within tight timelines. Typical build cycle is 1 to 2 weeks from concept to live demo.
  4. Architect serverless solutions that are cheap when idle and reliable during walkthroughs
  5. Develop industry-specific prototypes across manufacturing (digital twins, predictive maintenance, computer vision quality inspection), financial services (claims automation, wealth management, compliance), public sector (smart city operations, geospatial intelligence, digital identity), healthcare, telecommunications, and physical AI
